Khon Kaen Now is designed to bring up-to-date news and information from Khon Kaen city, the surrounding province and further afield to your desktop.We apologise for the iregular updates to the site at the moment, we are moving to a new office and it has caused disruption to our expected schedule,we hope to be providing daily news and features very soon. We thank you for your patience and ask you to check back regularly for upadates.As a city, Khon Kaen is growing at an ever increasing pace and this is likely to continue for sometime as the city is the adminstrative centerof the East West Economic Corridor (EWEC) which, when completed, will link the Indian and Pacific oceans and facilitate trade between the two most populated countries of the world, India and China.
Khon Kaen now will provide video newscasts (in Thai) that should be of interest to ex-pat Thais from the area and also people living beyond the reach of local cable tv in the villages of Khon Kaen and beyond. Text based English language news will be provided for non-thai speakers.Up-to-date, "What's On" information will be added constantly to the site and we intend to provide an English translation for the many advertising and promotional banners seen around the city so that no-one need miss out on events that may be of interest to them.Features will be an important part of KKnow and this will take the form of interviews with prominent people from the city with an insite into the way the city is developing, business, entertainment and government.It is hoped to offer reviews of restaurants, hotels and other "service" businesses and we would welcome reader feedback with regard to this.
Participation by the readers is very important to KKNow and we would invite everyone to contribute to the site. Although we will not be hosting
