By Train: There are 4 trains per day to and from Bangkok's Hua Lumpong Railway Station.Overnight trains are comfortable with sleeper berths (advance booking recommended). Once you arrive in Khon Kaen you can then take a Song Taew or Tuk Tuk from the Railway Station to your destination.

By Bus : Air conditioned buses run constantly from Bangkok. The journey takes 6-7 hours. Coaches leave the Northeastern Bus Terminal (Mo Chit 2 ) regularly. By Road : Khon Kaen province is 449 kilometres from Bangkok. Motorists should head north by taking Highway 1 (Phahon Yothin Rd.) and then take Highway 2 (Mittraphap Rd.) at kilometre post 107 in Saraburi province. Then follow Highway 2 through Nakhon Ratchasima province to Khon Kaen.
